5th March, 2012: Tibet Museum kicked off its 26 day travelling exhibition to Tibetan settlements, schools and monasteries in Uttarkhand. Tibet Museum showcased photo exhibitions and Tibet related documentary films at Dekyiling Tibetan settlement, the first venue of the exhibition tour.

The exhibition that is currently being showcased are titled, ‘Glimpses of the History of Tibet’ and ‘50 Years in Exile’. After the photo exhibition and documentary screening at Dekyiling Tibetan settlement and Drikung Monastery, Tibet Museum took the Exhibition to Tsering Dhonden Tibetan Settlement (Raipur) and in the evening screened the documentary films ‘What Remains of Us’ and ‘Uprising in Tibet 2008’ to a packed hall..
Touring staffs of Tibet Museum, Tenzing Ramjam and Thinley along with driver Lobsang Tseten will travel to Tibetan Homes School, Rajpur, Sakya College, Rajpur, Tibetan Homes Foundation, Mussoorie, Clementown Tibetan Settlement, Ling Tsang Tibetan Settlement, TCV Selakui, Poanta Sahib Tibetan Settlement, Sambhota Tibetan school, Poanta, CST Herbertpur and other clustered Tibetan colonies in a span of 26 days.
In January this year, Tibet Museum had showcased Photo Exhibition on the topic, Biography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Glimpses of the History of Tibet and 50 Years in Exile.
