PARIS: Tibet groups in France have announced that the ‘EUROPE STANDS WITH TIBET’ campaign has now reached a total of sixty-six supporters in France.The supporters include French senators, deputies, mayors, and municipal council members.
Mr. Tsering Dhondup, Secretary of the Tibet Bureau based in Paris, and Mr. Vincent Metten (ICT Europe) met the Tibetan parliamentary group in the French Senate yesterday. They were received by Senator Michel Raison, the president of the Tibet Group in the French Senate. Senator Raison was one of the earliest supporters of the campaign. Senator Annick Billon and Senator Maurice Antiste also pledged their support to the campaign yesterday.
