NEW DELHI: Home Kalon Ms. Dolma Gyari of the Central Tibetan Administration visited International Maitreya Foundation, New Delhi on 29 September.

The children and the executive members were honoured to receive Home Kalon at the foundation. Dakpa Rinpoche, founder of Maitreya Foundation gave a detailed account of the conception of the Foundation, its vision and future plans and programmes. The Kalon expressed her hopes to stay in touch with the foundation to know about its progress.

The International Maitreya Foundation is a non-profit charitable organisation founded in 1997 by Ven. VIII Dakpa Rinpoche to support differently abled and disadvantaged Tibetan refugees and Himalayan region children.

The International Maitreya Foundation is registered under Indian Societies Act XXI of 1860. NO/S32008 of 1997, Section 12AA of the Income Tax Act. 1961 and Registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act. 2010.
