TOKYO: Mr. Lungtok, Representative of the Liaison office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Tokyo, Japan, gave a presentation for half an hour on Tibet and the Central Tibetan Administration’s current policy -Middle Way Approach – followed by Q&A during the Earth Caravan 2015 in Tokyo at Zojoji Temple on Sunday, 19 July 2015.

He explained the historically independent status of Tibet, how it came under invasion and the flight of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and 80,000 Tibetans to seek refuge in India, and how, the current policy of the Tibetan administration – the Middle Way Approach- to engage in dialogue with the Peoples Republic of China is a win win policy for both China and Tibet.

Some interested attendees continued their quest even after the talk event was over.
