DHARAMSHALA: Shri. Sudhir Sharma, Honourable Minister of Housing, Urban Development and Town & Country Planning in the Government of Himachal Pradesh, will kindly grace the 80th birthday celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on 6 July. 6 July is the official birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama according to the western calendar.
Shri. Sudhir Sharma was also part of the guests who attended the mega celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday on 22 June, which is the birthday of His Holiness according to the Tibetan lunar calendar.
The minister was invited by Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay, the democratically elected political leader of the Tibetan people. Thousands of Tibetans are expected to join the celebration to honour His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday at the Tsuglakhang courtyard in Mcleod Ganj, Dharamshala.
