Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamshala today to address the Global Buddhist Congregation in New Delhi on 30 November.

The Global Buddhist Congregation 2011 is organised by the Asoka Mission to commemorate the 2600th year of the Sambobdhi Prapti, the enlightenment of Buddha. More than 900 religious leaders and scholars from 32 different nations are attending the ongoing four-day long Global Buddhist Congregation.His Holiness the Dalai Lama is also scheduled to give a talk on “Art of Happiness” as part of the Penguin Annual Lecture Series to be held at the India Habitat Center on 3 December.His Holiness the Dalai Lama will then leave for Gurupura (Hunsur) where he will give teachings on the “Commentary on the Five Stages” by Nagarjuna written by Panchen Lobsang Choegen at Gyurmey Tantric monastery from 5 -7 December.
