New Delhi: Representative Jigme Jungney has concluded his tenure after serving for over two years as the Representative at the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi.

To mark the occasion, the Bureau hosted an official tea reception on 15 July 2026 to bid him farewell and express its sincere appreciation for his dedicated service and valuable contributions during his tenure.

The event also featured an official handover ceremony, during which Representative Jigme Jungney formally transferred the temporary charge of the Bureau to Tashi Dickey, Secretary of the Bureau. The ceremony was officially witnessed by Additional Secretary Namgyal Tsewang, representing the Department of Information and International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration.

The Bureau expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Representative Jigme Jungney for his dedicated service and wished him every success in his future endeavours.
