After a welcome and opening address, the oath of office was virtually administered by the Tibetan Local Justice Commissioner for Northern Region. She further provided information on certain sections of the Tibetan Charter and the election rules to the attendees.

Five of the seven members of the 6th Tuting Local Tibetan Assembly took their oath before the Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner. Among them, Pema Dhondup and Rinzin Dorjee were elected as the new Chair and Vice Chair, respectively.
