The meeting provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and exchange of ideas. They expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to receive valuable insights from the Department of Security and underscored the importance of academic collaboration with Tibetan institutions.
In response, Kalon Dolma Gyari shared her perspectives on the subject and encouraged the professors to continue their research with a spirit of responsibility and dedication. She highlighted the significance of academic scholarship in amplifying the Tibetan narrative, as well as in promoting peace, nonviolence, and mutual understanding among diverse communities.
As a token of goodwill, the Kalon presented the visiting professors with a copy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s book, “Voice for the Voiceless”, which embodies the universal message of compassion, justice, and truth for all those who are silenced or marginalised.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to fostering academic exchange and cooperation.
