
Dharamshala: The swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Circuit Justice Commissioner, Migmar Dorjee, took place earlier this morning at Songtsen Hall, Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission (TSJC). The oath of office was formally administered by Chief Justice Commissioner Yeshi Wangmo.
Also in attendance were Justice Commissioners Dawa Phunkyi and Phagpa Tsering, along with staff of the TSJC, who gathered for the formal occasion.
The event commenced at 10:00 a.m. with ceremonial offerings of khatags and mandalas to the portrait of His Holiness the Dalai Lama by the attendees. Khatags were also presented to the new Circuit Justice Commissioner to congratulate him on this new appointment.
Prior to this appointment, Joint Secretary Migmar Dorjee served as Housing and Estate Manager at the Department of Home and has been taking on additional responsibilities for Nepal, Bhutan, and Delhi Tibetan settlements.
