Geneva: As part of the year-long Ghoton celebration, a commemorative tribute book was released, featuring heartfelt expressions of devotion, reverence, warm greetings, and fond memories from Swiss friends and supporters of Tibet, dedicated to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The initiative was realised under the guidance of the Tibet Bureau in Geneva, with the support of Thomas, Secretary of the Swiss Parliamentary Tibet Support Group, and was successfully presented to His Holiness.
The tribute book includes messages from a diverse range of Swiss contributors—intellectuals, artists, politicians, professors, journalists, and ordinary citizens. Their reflections highlight how His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s boundless compassion, message of peace, and steadfast promotion of universal human values have deeply touched and inspired their lives. Many emphasise His Holiness’ moral guidance and unwavering commitment to harmony and non-violence across generations and cultures.
In a world increasingly marked by uncertainty and conflict, the teachings of His Holiness remain more vital than ever. The messages in this book reflect heartfelt hopes for peace, compassion, and enduring happiness, echoing the lifelong mission His Holiness continues to champion.
