Poanta: On 23 July 2025, the Ghoton Committee members of Paonta Cholsum Tibetan Settlement organised a religious event as part of the ongoing lifelong celebration of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday. The event was devoted to honouring the life, legacy, and enlightened deeds of His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama.

The program took place at 9:00 am in Paonta Cholsum settlement’s community hall, where a large congregation of settlement residents gathered with deep devotion. The participants engaged in chanting of special prayers dedicated to the long life of His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama.

The prayer sessions included invocations of deities such as the Green Tara mantra, as well as Om Mañi mantra. Devotees offered ritual recitations and prayers with heartfelt reverence.

The Paonta Cholsum Ghoton Organising Committee successfully concluded the event with a strong sense of fulfilment and auspiciousness.
