
The Dhondenling Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society has been successfully revived with renewed leadership and purpose. A key meeting was held on 24/05/2025 at the Dhondenling Tibetan Settlement, where members were introduced and resolutions were unanimously passed to restructure and reenergize the society.
During the meeting, Thupten Tsering proposed a resolution, which was unanimously approved, appointing Raja Charya, current CEO of MYRADA Kollegal Branch, as the President of the Society.
Shri Nivas G, retired CEO of the Cooperative Society MD, Odeyarapalya, was unanimously appointed as the General Secretary, and Abdul Gaffar, Manager of Kalpavruksha Community Management Resource Centre, Odeyarapalya, was unanimously appointed as the Joint Secretary.
Thupten Tsering was also unanimously appointed as the Vice President of the Society.
This revival marks a renewed commitment to fostering friendship, cooperation, and mutual support between the Tibetan and Indian communities in the region.
