Shimla: In a gesture of respect and goodwill, Lhakpa Tsering, Chief Representative Officer (CRO) of Shimla, presented a copy of Voice for the Voiceless by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Dr. Harish Gajju, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, during a courtesy visit.

The meeting was aimed to discuss the ongoing land lease issues affecting Tibetan residents in the state.

The meeting followed the recent visit by the Honour able Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and his delegation to Sambhota Tibetan School on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. During that visit, CRO Lhakpa Tsering had held substantive discussions with senior dignitaries on related concerns.

In the current meeting, CRO Lhakpa Tsering respectfully sought an update from Dr Gajju on the status of the land lease matter, reiterating the concerns and expectations of the Tibetan community in Himachal Pradesh.
