Paris: Coordinator Thupten Tsering of the Bureau du Tibet in Paris visited Strasbourg, France, on 18 May 2025 to collect the annual Tibetan voluntary contribution, following a request from the local Tibetan community.

The community consists of around 120 Tibetan residents and runs a weekend Tibetan language school.

A total of 49 Tibetans made their contributions, and 21 families donated to the celebration fund for His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday. Blue Books were also issued to 10 local non-Tibetan supporters.

During his visit, Coordinator Thupten Tsering introduced the community’s president and vice president to two voluntary staff at the stall of SolHimal—a French NGO that has been working since 1988 to support the Tibetan people and help preserve their cultural heritage—at an ongoing local festival.
