
Tenzingang: On 15 January 2025, the 10th Lhagyala Rinpoche, Tulku Tenzin Wangchen received a warm welcome from the local Tibetan community upon his arrival at Gyuto monastery in Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement, Arunachal Pradesh. Among the distinguished guests present were Rinpoche’s entourage, Gaden Jangtse Tulku Thupten Yarphel Rinpoche and Arunachal Pradesh MLA Tseten Chombay.
The event began with Lhagyala Rinpoche offering a ceremonial scarf to a portrait of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and lighting ceremonial butter lamps. After Rinpoche took his seat, Gyuto Monastery’s Treasurer Jampa Tsering and Tibetan Settlement Officer Rabten Tsering made traditional mandala offering.
Following that, the monks of Gyuto Monastery conducted prayers –preside over by the Rinpoche– for the world peace, particularly for those who lost their lives in the recent devastating earthquake in Dingri region of Tibet. Rinpoche then address the congregation before concluding the event.
