DELHI: The Department of Education (DoE), Central Tibetan Administration has organised two workshops, one for 45 Primary teachers on “Early Childhood Care and Education” and another for 20 Middle School Science Teachers on “Science-specific Pedagogical Content Knowledge and Emerging Trends” at National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Delhi.

The workshops were started on 8th April and would conclude on 28th April 2015. The participants were from the schools of Sambhota Tibetan Schools Administration, Tibetan Children’s Village, Tibetan Homes Foundation, Snow Lion Foundation (Nepal), TNMF School, Sera Je School and Drepung Loseling School.

NCERT would conduct three more workshops in the coming months.

These workshops were organised by DoE, funded by CIDA, Canada to enhance and empower the teachers in Tibetan Schools.
