Paris: Coordinator Thupten Tsering from the Bureau du Tibet in Paris paid a visit to Tibetans in Amiens, Northern France, at the request of the Amiens Tibetan Association on 14 May 2023.

In Amiens, the Coordinator met with Ama Youlo, a steadfast benefactress to the Tibetan residents, and spoke to the gathering on policies of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) and undertakings of CTA and Bureau du Tibet, Paris. He also presented some important announcements of CTA to the attendees.

Later in the afternoon, the collection of Chatrel, a yearly voluntary contribution from Tibetans to CTA, was carried out for a total of 68 contributors and 25 new registrations. Around 160 Tibetans reside in Amiens, with 130 registered to CTA’s recent demographic survey and the remaining are not registered.
