DHARAMSHALA: Kalon Ngodup Tsering of the Department of Education is on a visit to the United States and Canada from 22 February -14 March.
During his two-day visit to San Francisco from 24-25 Feb, Kalon Ngodup Tsering is scheduled to meet important officials of different academic institutions including Mr. Michael McCullough, President, Global Leadership Incubator (GLI), the president of Betsy Gordon Foundation, San Rafael and Mr. Manu Prakash, an assistant professor of Stanford University.
The Education Kalon will leave US for Canada on 2 March. On 3-4 March, accompanied by Representative Kaydor Aukatsang, he will meet officials of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) project in Ottawa. He will meet the local Tibetan community in Montreal and Toronto from 5-7 March.
He will meet with local Tibetan community in Boston and New York on 8 and 9 March respectively, and attend the Tibetan National Uprising Day as the Kashag’s representative in New York on 10 March. He will also meet with local Tibetan Community in Connecticut on 11 March.
