
DHARAMSHALA: The Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile today congratulated Mr. Arvind Kejriwal for a resounding win in the recently concluded Delhi Assembly elections.
“We are extremely happy at your magnificent victory in the Delhi Elections. On behalf of all the Tibetans, I wish to congratulate you most heartily on assuming the responsibility of Chief Minister of Delhi. We wish you success in all your endeavors,” Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile wrote.
“ I am thankful that you have received our Parliamentary Delegations. As you are an important Indian political leader, we request for your support to seek a mutually beneficial long lasting negotiated settlement of the Tibet issue through the Middle Way Approach as espoused by His Holiness the Dalai Lama,” he said.
The Aam Aadmi Party led by Mr. Arvind Kejriwal won 67 of the 70 seats in the recent Delhi assembly election. He was sworn-in as the new Chief Minister of Delhi on 14 February at the Ram Lila Ground.
