DHARAMSHALA: The Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration invites applications for a six-month intensive course on Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy. This is the second six-month course on Tibetan language being organised by the department in collaboration with Gyurmey monastery based in Hunsur Tibetan settlement.
The participants would be given a course-completion certificate after clearing a test at the end of the program.
Venue: Gyurmey monastery, Hunsur Tibetan Settlement, Karnataka state
Duration: 1 July 2015 – 31 December 2015 (Food, accommodation and travel expenses to and from the venue will be provided for the participants)
Eligibility:
• College graduate
• Competent in Tibetan language or someone who has studied Tibetan till class 12
• Someone who can attend the full six-month course without discontinuing in-between
