DHARAMSHALA: Mr Ngodup Tsering, the newly-appointed Kalon of the 14th Kashag took oath at the swearing-in ceremony held at Gangchen Kyishong.

The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice Commissioner of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission. The dignitaries present on the occasion include Tibetan Justice Commissioners, members of the Tibetan Parliament, members of the Kashag, Secretaries of various departments and senior officials of Tibetan schools based in Dharamshala.

Mr Ngodup Tsering’s nomination for Kalon was unanimously approved by the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile yesterday.
