DHARAMSHALA: Out of the 890 prospective candidates shortlisted through lottery from Tibetan settlements in Arunachal Pradesh for resettlement project to Canada, so far 171 candidates have already been resettled in Canada.

Among the groups, 52 candidates are scheduled to leave in September, 2014.

Among those already resettled in Canada, 74 are from Maio Chompheling, 22 are from Tenzingang, 49 are from Tezu Dhargyaling and 26 are from Tuting.

The third group with 86 candidates has completed medical evaluation and interview in August, 2014 at Delhi.

The call for medical evaluation and interview for the fourth group would be finalized shortly. This project will be completed in May 2016.
