Kalon Tripa to visit Tibetan settlements in Himachal Pradesh [Friday, 16 July 2010, 12:44 p.m.]

Kalon Tripa Prof Samdhong Rinpoche will leave Dharamsala on Sunday for
inspection visits to seven Tibetan settlements based in the north
Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.Kalon Tripa will visit Tibetan
settlements in Shimla, Dholanji in Solan, Pandoh, Kullu Manali,
Chauntara, Bir and Tashi Jong from 18 – 26 July.He will address schoolchildren during his visit to the Tibetan Children Village School in Suja, Bir.Out of the 39 settlements in India, 14 are located in Himachal Pradesh which has a total population of around 33,864 Tibetans.
