Tibetans and Taiwanese Buddhist Pray for earthquake victims in Tibet on 19April in Taipei.

Dharamshala:Nearly 100 Tibetan monks, 300 Taiwanese Buddhists and Tibetan people held a special prayer service on Saturday, April 17, at the main gate of Chagkaishek Memorial Hall from 2 to 6 p.m. in Taipei, Taiwan, for the victims of Kyigudo earthquake tragedy in Tibet. The prayer was organized by the Tibetans in Taiwan.The memorial prayer was part of activities decided on April 15 by Taiwan Tibetan Welfare Association and a group of senior Tibetan monks in Taipei for the victims of the earthquake that struck Kyigudo in Tibet. The meeting also decided to form an association comprising of senior Tibetan monks and lay persons to work together and organise relief and assistance for the survivors of Kyigudo earthquake. –Report filed by OOT TaiwanMore pictures:
