
DHARAMSHALA: His Holiness the Dalai Lama returned to Dharamshala today from Raipur city after completing a series of teachings and talks in Japan, New Delhi, Bangalore, Raipur, Bylakuppe and Bandara Tibetan settlements.
His Holiness was given a rousing welcome by Tibetans, local Indians and foreigners on his arrival in Dharamshala.
His Holiness was received at his residence by the members of the Kashag, members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, the Chief Justice Commissioner and the two Justice Commissioners of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission.
The heads of various Tibetan non-governmental organisations based in Dharamshala were also there to receive His Holiness.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s last program was at the Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University in Raipur, where he delivered a keynote address on ‘Wisdom and Compassion’ on 15 January, during the three-day national seminar on philosophy of Nagarjuna.
