Deputy Speaker To Attend Tibet Support Group’s Conference in Meerut[Tuesday, 9 March 2010, 4:24 p.m.]

The deputy speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile, Mrs Dolma Gyari,
will attend a conference in Meerut at the invitation of Anterrashtriya
Bharat-Tibbet Sahyog Samiti (International Indo-Tibet Support
Committee).The Standing Committee of the Tibetan Parliament has approved the visit.The meeting coincides with the 51st Tibetan National Uprising Day on 10 March 2010.Dr
Yogesh Mohan Gupta, former district level governor of Rotary Club and
chairman, IIMT Group of Colleges Ganga Nagar, Meerut, will inaugurate
the conference at 11:00 am on 10 March. The conference will
showcase award winning arts, paintings and other aspects of Tibetan
culture featured in competitions in various Indian colleges.
