Dharamshala: The Central Tibetan Administration and the general Tibetan populace would jointly organise a long life offering ceremony for His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Tsuglagkhang, the main temple, on 2 March 2010.The ceremony is part of official commemoration of the 50th anniversaries of the Tibetan people’s peaceful uprising against the repression and occupation of Tibet by the People’s Republic of China, and the exile of the Tibetan government and its people to India, from 10 March 2009 to 10 March 2010. In accordance with spiritual prophesies, the administration and general Tibetan populace has been jointly conducting a series of prayer services to enhance collective merit for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the spontaneous fulfilment of all his wishes. The heads of the five schools of Tibetan Buddhism and Bon religion will attend the ceremony. Senior officials from the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission, Tibetan Parliament in exile, the Kashag and autonomous bodies of the Central Tibetan Administration will be present.
