DHARAMSHALA: Thupten Gyaltsen aka Thupgyal, a Tibetan businessman from Sog county, Nagchu in Tibet Autonomous Region, was arrested by Chinese authorities during a night raid at his home on 11 November.
Despite his family’s repeated attempts, his current whereabouts is unknown.
Although the reason for his arrest was not given, local Tibetans believe he was arrested under suspicion of contacting Tibetan exiles.
His parent’s names are Tenpai Gyaltsen and Thupten Choezin.
