As the historic climate change summit kicked off this morning in
Copenhagen, the Environment and Development Desk of the Central Tibetan
Administration has issued a series briefing papers to highlight the impacts of climate change on the Tibetan plateau. The
Environment and Development Desk will publish a report on “The Impacts
of Climate Change on the Tibetan Plateau: A Synthesis of Recent Science
And Tibetan Research”, on 10 December.Tenzin Norbu, head of the
Environment and Development Desk, and Choekyi, a researcher, will take
part in the historic climate change summit.
