Mundgod, Karnataka: Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay of the Central Tibetan Administration received a warm welcome reception in Doeguling Tibetan settlement in Mundgod, Karnataka yesterday.
In the southern Tibetan refugee settlement of Mundgod, Sikyong will attend the inauguration ceremony of the International Conference on Je Tsongkhapa’s Life, Thought and Legacy, the commemoration of the 600th anniversary of the Parinirvana of Je Tsongkhapa at Gaden Lachi, and life-long prayer offering to His Holiness at Gaden Jangtse monastery respectively on 20, 22 and 23 December. While in Mundgod, the President is also scheduled to inaugurate the new staff quarters of the settlement’s hospital.
Following the official visit, the President will return to Dharamshala on 23rd December.
