Dharamshala: Chaired by the Speaker Pema Jungney, Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, the second day of the 8th session of the 16th Tibetan Parliament began with the continuation of the debate on the 2018-19 annual report of CTA’s Department of Religion and Culture.
Kalon Ven Karma Gelek Yuthok presented in detail answers and clarifications to the questions raised by the Members of Parliament.
It was followed by a presentation of the 2018-19 annual report of the Department of Home by Kalon Sonam Topgyal Khorlatsang.
Parliamentarian Ven. Khenpo Sonam Tenphel presented the Standing Committee’s reviewed report on the detailed 2018-19 annual report of the Home department.
Parliamentarian Ven. Khenpo Kada Ngedup Sonam tabled the motion for debate on the aforesaid report which was supported by Parliamentarian Ven. Tenpa Yarphel.
Thereafter, Kalon Sonam Topgyal Khorlatsang presented the Kashag’s clarification on the reviewed report of DoH by the Standing Committee.
The session continued with debate on the reports and Kashag’s clarification, which shall be carried forward in the coming Monday’s session.
