Dharamshala:
Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche today presided over the opening day of a
two-day annual meeting of the representatives of His Holiness the Dalai
Lama, which is being hosted by the Department of Information and
International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration. The
meeting’s agenda includes how to enhance better coordination among the
offices of Tibet, promotion of Tibetan religion and culture and follow
up action on the Chinese-Tibetan conference held in Geneva in August
this year.Kalon Kesang Yangkyi Takla, Kalon for the Department
of Information and International Relations, welcomed the
representatives and gave the opening address of the meeting.

In
his address, Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche told the representatives to
strengthen their Tibet awareness activities and pledged to them of
Kashag’s cooperation. The two secretaries and concerned
officials of the Department of Information and International Relations
are attending the meeting.
