DHARAMSHALA: The first ever meeting of Tibetan Settlement Officers in Himachal Pradesh held with the concerned department heads of the Government of Himachal Pradesh was chaired by the Chief Secretary.

The meeting was called on mainly to discuss and request for consideration and assistance on the key problems faced by various Tibetan settlements under Himachal Pradesh jurisdiction.

Chief Secretary Mr Sudripta Roy was accompanied by a group of senior officials including Mr P. Mitra, (Additional Chief Secretary for Urban Development, Town and Country Planning, Housing) and Mr V.C Pharka, principal secretary for Youth Service and Sports, Information & Public Relations, Tourism, Tribal Development and Public Works.

Two senior officials of the CTA’s home department, Mr Dhondup Dorjee Additional Secretary (Administration) for Home and Mr Chhemi Rigzen, Additional Secretary (Agriculture), attended the meeting.
