
Dharamshala: The Election Commissioner, Mr Sonam Choephel Shosur is scheduled to leave this Saturday for Tibetan settlements in South India to improve public awareness on the revised Tibetan electoral rules and regulations.
Mr Shosur will visit Kollegal Dhondenling Tibetan settlement on 27 May, Hunsur Rabgyeling on 28 May, followed by Bylakuppe Lungsung Samdupling on 29 May and Dekyi Larso Tibetan settlement on 30 May.
He will conduct talks pertaining to the rules and regulations of the Tibetan election system with special reference to the recently revised electoral system.
After successfully completing his visits to the settlements in Karnataka, Election Commissioner will visit Mundgod Tibetan settlement and conduct an awareness talk on 1 June.
He will return to Dharamshala on 2 June.
