Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama has appointed Justice Commissioner Mr Ngawang Phelgyal Gyenchen as the new Chief Justice Commissioner of the Central Tibetan Administration.While Mr Ngawang Thupten, local justice commissioner at Dehradun, has been appointed as one of the two justice commissioners. The other vacant post would be filled in March next year, said Speaker Penpa Tsering after reading out the appointment letter issued by the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.The present Chief Justice Commissioner, Mr Namgyal Tsering Drelnang will complete his term on 14 October 2009, and Justice Commissioner Mr Thupten Tashi Anyetsang retired on 27 July 2009.Jamphel Choesang, Secretary of the Department of Security has been appointed as the new chairman of the Election Commission and the Public Service Commission, in place of Mr. Tashi Phuntsok, whose term for the post completes on 4th October 2009.
