Dharamsala: Chaired by Speaker Pema Jungney, the ninth day of the 7th session of 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile began with continuation of debate and approval of the proposed 2019-2020 Recurring budget, Special Recurring budget and Surkyul budget of Department of Home, including Surkyol budget of Chief Representative Office of South Zone and 5 Tibetan Settlements which do not have Local Tibetan Assembly.
The session proceeded with debate on Cabinet (Kashag)’s clarification. Parliamentarians raised various questions on ‘Cabinet’s Clarification’ from the previous day. President Dr. Lobsang Sangay will answer the questions on the next day.
Proceeding with the list of business, Chairman of 9th Public Accounts Committee, Parliamentarian Geshe Lharampa Atuk Tsetan along with the member of Committee, Parliamentarian Khenpo Kada Ngedhup Sonam presented the 9th Public Accounts Committee’s report. The Committee has reviewed the audit reports and its responses of the 176 offices of the Central Tibetan Administration and the autonomous bodies for the fiscal year 2015-2016.
