
BANGALORE: Health Kalon Dr Tsering Wangchuk has met senior health and medical education officials during his visit to Bangalore.
The health Kalon met state health and family welfare secretary Madan Mohan and medical education secretary K H Govindraj on 19 April. He requested them to consider the state government health care programmes on TB and rural health for the Tibetan settlements based in the state, Mr Karma Singe, the Chief Representative of south zone told TibetNet.

The health Kalon also reiterated the request made by Sikyong to the Chief Minister last year to facilitate reserve seats for MBBS and M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) for Tibetan students.
Health Kalon Dr Tsering Wangchuk spoke to Tibetans living in Bangalore, including college students, and gave an exclusive talk to 30 MBBS and engineering aspirants from TCV Bylakuppe and CST Mundgod doing NEET and CET training under the auspices of education department.
He visited Neelamangala vocational training centre, Tele Radiology, Vittala International Institute for Ophthalmology and Tibet Mall.
