DHARMSHALA: Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament, Mr. Penpa Tsering, unequivocally reaffirmed the continued validity of the unanimous resolution adopted by the parliament in 1997 to pursue the Middle Way Policy towards resolving the issue of Tibet.
The Speaker’s statement was made in response to Chithue Karma Choephel’s personal clarification of his stand with respect to the Middle Way Approach.
“An individual member-of-parliament’s personal statement in the House cannot affect whatsoever the unanimously adopted Middle Way Policy of the Central Tibetan Administration,” explained Speaker Penpa Tsering.
