DHARAMSHALA: The Audio Visual Section (AV) of the Department of Information & international Relations (DIIR) will bring to its viewers the live webcast and full recording of the Tibetan parliamentary sessions with new features using Google Hangouts Technology. Each day’s session will have a maximum 4 to 5 parts with about 6-hour video.
The 5th session of the 15th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile will be convened from 18 – 28 March 2013. The webcast and the recordings will be made available on www.tibetonline.tv and www.chithu.org.
The AV Section of DIIR has been producing DVDs of the entire proceedings of the Parliamentary session for distribution in the Tibetan settlements, where the general public watch them on their local cable TV or in the community hall. It has been broadcasting the parliamentary sessions across the world on Tibetonline.tv and to the general public in Dharamsala through the cable TV since 2007.
