
DHARAMSHALA: The standing committee members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile yesterday paid a cordial visit to congratulate the new chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Virbhadra Singh.
Tibetan Parliamentarian Dolma Tsering, Bawa Kelsang Gyaltsen, Geshe Rongpo Lobsang Nyandak visited the chief minister and wished him a successful tenure. They extended the Tibetan people’s gratitude towards the Himachal government and people for their hospitality and support for the Tibetan cause.
The chief minister also expressed his solidarity with the sufferings of the Tibetan people and agreed to continue his support on the Tibetan issue.
Shri Virbhadra Singh, the new chief minister of Himachal Pradesh is in Dharamshala for the winter session of the Himachal Assembly.
The Tibetan parliamentarians were accompanied by secretary Topgyal and deputy secretary Tenzin Choedon of the Tibetan parliamentary secretariat.
