DHARAMSHALA: The first Tibetan teacher’s meeting is currently under-way at the Tibetan Children Village school at lower Dharamshala. The three-day meeting is organised by the department of education, Central Tibetan Administration.

Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay who is also the Kalon for the department of education inaugurated the meeting.

Over 153 Tibetan teachers from all over India as well as officials from the department of education are attending the meeting. The meeting will deliberate on ways to develop the education system in the Tibetan schools. It will conclude on 5 January.
