DHARAMSALA: On behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration, Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay extends his heartiest congratulations to Ms. Maya Graf on her election to the President of the Federal Parliament of Switzerland.
 
“I am pleased to learn that you have been successfully elected as the President of the Federal Parliament of Switzerland” Sikyong said in his congratulatory letter to her.
 
Ms. Maya Graf holds the unique distinction of being the first ever member of the Green Party to hold this esteemed post. The Sikyong had earlier met Ms. Graf in Bern, Switzerland during his visit there in November 2011.
