DHARAMSHALA: As invited by the Central Tibetan Administration, Kathok Gertse Rinpoche, spiritual leader of Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, who was in Dharamshala as part of some other work, visited the Kashag secretariat on 5 June in the evening. The Kashag also hosted a dinner reception for Rinpoche.
The reception was attended by CTA President Dr Lobsang Sangay, Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, members of the 15th Kashag, member of Tibetan Parliament from Nyingma, Kashag Secretary Topgyal Tsering and Religion and Culture Secretary Lungtok.
During the reception, Rinpoche applauded the performance and efforts of the Central Tibetan Administration led by Kashag. Greeting Kathok Gertse Rinpoche, CTA President Dr Lobsang Sangay welcomed Rinpoche to the Central Tibetan Administration and pledged to work wholeheartedly to fulfill the aspirations of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and enhance the collective merit of the Tibetan people.
