Dharamshala: Tsering Samdup, Director of Education Council, Department of Education, attended the meeting of TCV school heads on 11 November at the Tibetan Youth Hostel in New Delhi. He gave talk on three topics including Basic Education Policy for Tibetans in exile, implementation of the Education Council’s 2017 resolutions and about the early grade reading programme.

He is currently in Bylakuppe to make preliminary discussions and arrangements of the forthcoming workshop on Secular Ethics in Bylakuppe in December. He was recently invited as the chief guest to the Children’s Day function of Sera Je School, where he gave a brief talk. Thereafter he had been honored to give prizes to the best reader and the most exemplary students of the school.

He will be back to Dharamshala on 18 November 2017.
