9th Local Tibetan Assembly of Kamrao Tibetan Settlement Sworn-in.

Kamrao: The 9th Local Tibetan Assembly of Kamrao Tibetan Settlement in Himachal Pradesh was sworn in on 31st March 2025.

Under the leadership of Tenzin Rinchen, the Local Election Officer and Tibetan Settlement Officer, members of the Local Tibetan Assembly, along with the Office Accountant and other staff members, gathered in the assembly hall.

Out of the 7 newly elected members of the 9th Tibetan Local Assembly, 6 members took their oaths of office before the Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner of the Northern Region, Choekyi, who administered the ceremony.

During the swearing-in ceremony, the Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner briefly introduced herself and provided an overview of the regulations governing the swearing-in process and election law.

In the 9th Local Tibetan Assembly of Kamrao, Tashi Dhondup was appointed as the President of the Local Tibetan Assembly (LTA), and Lobsang was appointed as the Vice President. Both the President and Vice President successfully took their oaths of office.
