Dharamshala: The 17th Kashag of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) invoked the official state oracle, Nechung, during a Summer Invocation Ceremony held this morning at the Nechung Drayangling Monastery in Gangchen Kyishong.
The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Central Tibetan Administration, including Chief Justice Commissioner Yeshi Wangmo, Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang, Sikyong Penpa Tsering, Deputy Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Tibetan Justice Commissioners Dawa Phunkyi and Labrang Phagpa Tsering, Kalon Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi of the Department of Religion and Culture, Kalon Palden Dhondup of the Department of Home, Kalon Tsering Dhondup Gyangser of the Department of Finance, Kalon Ugyen Tenzin of the Department of Education, Kalon Kunga Tashi of the Department of Security, Kalon Pema Tso of the Department of Health, Chief Election Commissioner Lobsang Yeshi, Public Service Commissioner Karma Yeshi, Auditor General Tashi Topgyal, members of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Secretary Lobsang Jinpa, along with secretaries and staff of the Central Tibetan Administration.
This customary biannual ceremony is observed by the Central Tibetan Administration twice a year (in summer and once in winter) to express deep respect and gratitude to Nechung.
