Tenzingang, Arunachal Pradesh: The newly elected members of Tenzingang’s 11th Local Tibetan Assembly were sworn in today.

According to the provision of article 69 of the exile Tibetan Charter, Tashi Tsering, President of the local Tibetan Freedom Movement, was appointed as the temporary Local Justice Commissioner to administer the oath-taking of the newly elected members. Out of the 9 elected members, Phuntsok Tsering and Lobsang Yeshi were elected as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively. The elected members took the oath before the temporary Local Justice Commissioner.
