Two Tibetans to be selected for Warsaw University Scholarship 2010[Thursday, 13 May 2010, 10:03 a.m.]
Dharamshala: The Department of Education of the Central Tibetan Administration in collaboration with the University of Warsaw is conducting selection tests for Tibetans who intends to pursue two-year Master’s program at the University of Warsaw, Poland. It is a full scholarship and covers tuition fees, health insurance, free accommodation, subsistence costs and airfare. The programmes offered are Philosophy, Psychology, International Business Program, International Economics, European Finance & Banking, Development Economics, International Relations, Political Science and European Studies. The test is scheduled on 13-14 May 2010 and it comprises of Tibetan and English general written tests followed by an interview. The test is being held at the Lhakpa Tsering Memorial Hall of the Department of Information and International Relations in Dharamsala. Of the 13 applicants received from various Tibetan communities across India, 11 reported at the Department of Education, CTA, and 2 will be selected for the study programme commencing from the fall 2010.
