Dharamshala: Darjeeling Tibetan Settlement Officer Pema Tsering Dhenmatsang inaugurated the Telemedicine services at the Tibetan clinic in Sonada on 8 January 2024.

The event began with an official ribbon-cutting by the Tibetan Settlement Officer, followed by an awareness session conducted by Settlement Secretary Tashi and Nurse Kunga to inform the general public about the advantages of telemedicine and how people can get medical consultations from experienced and qualified doctors without having to travel far.

Sonada Tashiling Clinic became the fifth centre in the Tibetan community to provide telemedicine services to the public.
